10th show of 2025 and it's somewhat indulgent. I attended 2025's best concert (for me) thus far as Bonny Light Horseman worked over Castlemaine with a little warm-up from Maple Glider so much of today's show is dedicated to these artists. Elsewhere, we have new music from Lotte Gallagher, Gordi, The Stamps and Japanese Breakfast. And a bit of MJ Lenderman, Wednesday and Waxahatchee. Oh and Lucy Farrell ahead of next week's Festival of Small Halls Sandy Creek show. Playlist here…

Sandy Creek Hall is situated on a hill that overlooks farms, the football ground (aka MCG of the bush) and the turnoff to Tallangatta. It was built by locals in 1959 and on Saturday 15 March they will host the Festival of Small Halls for the very first time featuring headline act UK born folk artist Lucy Farrell who now resides in Canada. Hall committee member Karral Miller called by the Indigo FM Tangambalanga studio to chat with Scott from Everyone Deserves Music about their exciting upcoming event.…

On 19 Feb 2012 a close friend and mentor Kelvin Ford departed this existence. On the 13th anniversary of his death, I look back at some of the music and interests that Kelvin and I shared and pay tribute to the contribution he made to our community and his friends and family. Music from John Butler, the late Chris Wilson, Paul Kelly, Mark Knopfler, The Waifs and Xavier Rudd. Playlist here…

A challenging oblique strategy this week. Fortunately, Bernie, Michael and Nigel rose to the challenge ... well at least Bernie and Michael did, Nigel went off theme after his first track. Still a great range of songs played in the show that are definitely worth a listen.
