Then, on the rest of the menu, New York’s attorney general warned the owner of Madison Square Garden that it may be violating anti-bias laws with its practice of barring lawyers from its venues, and using facial recognition technology to enforce it; a record 16.3 million people have sought health coverage through ‘Obamacare’ this year; and, the Department of Agriculture announced it is reinstating restrictions on road-building and logging on the country’s largest national forest in southeast Alaska.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Spain issued an app-based food delivery company a new fine of $62 million for violating labor laws; and, the results of a survey in the Netherlands showed a “a disturbing lack of awareness of key historical facts about the Holocaust.”
