Weather Report Script for Washington DC:
Good morning, weather watchers! Let's dive into our weekend forecast that's got a bit of winter drama in store.
Today, we're looking at a cloudy canvas with a high near 46 degrees Fahrenheit. There's a slight chance of showers before noon, so keep that umbrella handy. Winds will be light and dancing from the south, picking up to 5 to 9 miles per hour in the morning.
Tonight gets chilly, with temperatures dipping to around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. We might see a light sprinkle after 1 am, so don't put away those waterproof jackets just yet.
Sunday is where things get interesting! We're expecting a mix of rain and snow, with temperatures struggling to reach 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect winds from the north around 9 to 13 miles per hour, with gusts up to 21 miles per hour. Snow accumulation could be 1 to 3 inches, perfect for a winter wonderland snapshot.
Sunday night continues the wintry theme with snow likely before 7 pm. Temperatures will plummet to 18 degrees Fahrenheit with northwest winds maintaining their chill.
Martin Luther King Day brings a crisp, sunny day with a high of just 23 degrees Fahrenheit. Those northwest winds will be brisk, reaching up to 17 miles per hour with gusts as high as 33 miles per hour.
The rest of the week keeps that winter spirit alive with mostly cloudy and cold conditions, temperatures hovering in the low to mid 20s.
