Good morning, San Francisco! This is your weather update for Friday, February 14th, coming to you with some windy and wet details.
We're kicking off the day with a Wind Advisory and High Surf Warning, so hold onto your hats and maybe leave the surfboard at home today!
Overnight, we saw some rain action, with winds whipping around at 16 miles per hour and gusts reaching up to 28 miles per hour. Temperatures dipped down to a cool 49 degrees Fahrenheit.
Today's forecast looks mostly sunny with a high near 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Those west northwest winds will continue to blow at 14 to 16 miles per hour, with gusts up to 23 miles per hour. There's a slight 20 percent chance of rain before 10 in the morning, but nothing too dramatic.
The weekend's looking pretty pleasant. Saturday will be partly sunny with a calm wind and temperatures climbing to 58 degrees Fahrenheit. Saturday night brings some cloud coverage with temperatures around 46 degrees.
Sunday introduces a 40 percent chance of rain and mostly cloudy conditions. Washington's Birthday looks promising with patchy fog in the morning and partly sunny skies, reaching a high of 60 degrees.
Next week continues the trend of mild weather with mostly sunny days, temperatures hovering around 60 degrees, and some playful patches of fog making guest appearances.
