In episode 103 of GT247's Tigers in 20, host and lead writer Christian Fowler and GoTigers247 founder Brooks Hansen discuss the latest in Memphis football and basketball.

To begin the episode, Fowler and Hansen discuss Memphis' six-game winning streak and how they can put everything together going into the conference tournament. The Tigers picked up a 21-point win over South Florida earlier this week, and the biggest game of the season is coming up on Sunday against No. 9 Houston.

Penny Hardaway and the Tigers have won nine of their last 10 games, and they have won three consecutive games since returning from the 18-day COVID-19 pause. Memphis has been solid on both ends of the floor, but they must play one of the best games of the season to defeat one of the best teams in the country.

Houston is nearly unbeatable at home, so the Tigers must do the unthinkable. If Memphis is able to pull off an upset win over the Cougars, then they will have a ton of momentum heading into the American Athletic Conference Tournament next week.

Throughout the episode, the duo discusses both Boogie Ellis and Landers Nolley and what they can do to help Memphis beat Houston and make a run in the conference tournament. Ellis has hit 52 percent of his shots from deep since Memphis returned from the pause, and he has been the Tigers' best offensive weapon.

Although Nolley is the team's leading scorer, he has been pretty quiet over the last several games. Despite players like Ellis stepping up on the offensive end of the floor, Memphis needs Nolley to be more of a dangerous scoring threat moving forward.

Finally, the GT247 crew explains why they are so excited for Sunday's matchup, and both Fowler and Hansen believe it will be one of the better games this season.
