WHAT WERE THOSE MARCHES REALLY ABOUT? GOD GIVE US JUSTICE!

Our parents, grandparents and even great grandparents of the Civil Rights era would not give up and the time has come that those in this era must join them in saying that they won’t either. We will not stop praying, believing or doing what’s necessary to get the justice we are due and that includes boycotts which means not shopping at the stores or supporting the businesses that have done away with their DEI programs. The men and women of that time prayed! They met in the churches to plan their strategies and began their marches. And those marches always began with prayer. They knew that they weren’t crying out to an unjust god, in fact, just the opposite. They were calling on the true and living God. They were calling on the God of Isaiah 33:22 where Isaiah said the Lord is our judge. They stood on the fact knowing that the Lord is our lawgiver and that the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us so therefore, in this day and age, at this time and slate, we must also be persistent, tenacious and unrelenting in our prayers day and night as those who marched were. The ones who marched and protested during those times knew the difference between those who were wicked, mean and ungodly from the true and living God who they knew would give us the justice that was due in spite of the beatings, arrests, attack dogs, water hoses and all the rest of the cruelties that were being inflicted on them.
