As-Salaam Alaikum all my beautiful people!!! We are right around the corner from the most blessed month of the year - Ramadan! The month of the quran and as muslims we should take full advantage... But how does that even look? Not only should we focus on the fasting, reading quran, and making duaa. We should also be looking for lasting change. We are talking about a spiritual reformation. For those following us on IG, I'm sure you've seen our Ramadan Remedies IG tour, where we ask guests such as Shahd Batel, Dr. Faraj Hassan, Kimchi Falafel, & many more how they are preparing for Ramadan. Ironically not many people spoke about the spiritual aspect of Ramadan and how we can transform ourselves internally. That is why we thought it was so important to put together an inclusive community by young muslims for young muslims. A 30 day program - Ramadan Remedy. Teaching everyone how they can heal themselves after such a traumatic year and how to overcome the nafs (self).
We also dive into the France Hijab ban and how our muslim women need to be protected at all costs. We have updates on the George Floyd Case and The uber Driver Mohammed Anwar who was car jacked and murdered by young teens in D.C. MAshallah an episode for the books!
