This week, what we're throwing down on the Table is a discussion with Kelly Hinkle (@hinx) from BroadStreetHockey.com and the BSH Radio podcast about this rough season for the Philadelphia Flyers and us fans as we sit back and watch. Will the front office blow up this entire team in the future? We'll get into it for sure.
But first, we talked about Ben Roethelisberger's sendoff in Pittsburgh, and how we'd love to see one of our beloved Eagles' players do the same in the future. Which player might we witness giving Philly a sendoff upon his retirement? (approx. 4:25)
Then we gave our thoughts on how the college football portal has been making tremendous waves over this past season and over the past couple weeks. It's college football free agency! (approx. 8:40)
From there, we dove into this Philadelphia Eagles team and who really deserves the credit for this success of a season? (approx. 17:25)
Of course, we then had to talk about this Sixers team. Reflecting on The Process here in 2022, especially where this 76ers team is doing a little better than mediocre, are fans, from an overall picture, justified in their displeasure? (approx. 25:40)
What we threw down on the Table was a great discussion with Kelly Hinkle from Broad Street Hockey about the current state of this Flyers' team as there are so many questions that need answers. Why should the front office not just blow this whole thing up after yet another season where they either barely make or barely miss the playoffs? How should we be assessing Mike Yeo at this point as interim head coach? And where does his leash end this season? Based on injuries, is there maybe something with the organization’s conditioning program or medical staff that is a concern? (approx. 33:20)
