“Shame Can Not Exist in The Presence of Love”. Vanessa Broers is our special guest this week on Episode #22 of The Other Side of Addiction Podcast.
As Devon Bandison, the author of Fatherhood Is Leadership put it, Vanessa is “Full of wit and truth…” After hearing this episode you’ll realize Devon was spot on! Vanessa works with high achievers to help them become high performers. She was fascinated by her client's inability to reach their goals despite having the knowledge, time, motivation and resources to do it. This catalyzed her decade-long study of human behavior and performance.
Alcoholism also runs deep in Vanessa’s family. When Vanessa got pregnant, she realized she also had an addiction, workaholism. Her work as an individual has been about going into the deepest of deep places. Submerging herself back into the terror, entering the realms of self-forgiveness. “Love Kills Everything That Isn’t Love” says Vanessa.
She’s a certified Health Coach, is certified in the Transformational Coaching Method and Master Transformational Coaching method as well as ten years of coaching experience. Vanessa has coached hundreds of people across a range of professions from executive level leaders, entrepreneurs, professional coaches, therapists and waitresses. While people’s behaviors can feel mysterious, when you understand the patterns, the path forward is clear. Vanessa just launched her new book WE ARE ONE… HOW ONE WOMEN RECLAINED HER IDENTITY THROUGH MOTHERHOOD.
