These speech language pathologists (SLP) and occupational therapists (OT) are essential in preventing oral aversions and developing good eating habits in NICU babies.
These amazing women also discuss their role in supporting parents and caregivers, and how they emphasize developing strong bonds between baby and caregiver with experiences like skin-to-skin and non-nutritive sucking. It’s a sweet and caring episode.
