Hello, friends! In this Q&A, I take a look at two questions relating to coping with grief and survivor’s guilt after a family tragedy and learning to guard yourself when you love too easily and struggle with codependency.

Question 1:

I’m looking for a podcast that would apply to my son who lost his house in a fire and his partner of 17 years, but he survived. I have no expertise but seems to be experiencing
  • survivors guilt
  • ptsd
  • deteriorating work situation
  • loneliness
  • depression
  • hopelessness
I’m thinking right now podcast forum is best for him. We are taking baby steps. If it takes several just plz provide me links to them. Thank you, Mom

Question 2:

Hello, I first just wanted to thank you for providing so many people with help through this podcast. My question for you is: as a single person who has little experience with serious relationships, how do I not let the thought of someone else’s love consume me? It’s all I think about and I end up giving my love to people who don’t deserve it because I am desperate. How do I stop this?
