As Gas prices hit a new record high many people around the world, especially Americans, wonder why. Some governments (including the USA) blame Russia, while others wonder what happened.
In this video, we answer the following:
1) Why are you paying high oil prices at the gas pump?
2) Why is the US selling its oil to China?
3) Do market forces have anything to do with it? Or is this a political strategy?
One thing is sure: The rise in oil prices is driven by geopolitics as much as economics.
