He describes how my grandparents met, along with how he met my mom, Sandy, and shares his experiences in the US Navy. Bruce Bell was a renowned bowling champion, reputed far and wide, as the "social chemist” bar tender, and earned the moniker, "Brutus the Baffling,” prestidigitator (aka magician). He harkens back to the times when we would sail off the coast of Santa Barbara and recants how we were close to being shipwrecked!
