If Jesus really prayed, “...your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10), then maybe we should be working to operate here on earth as God intends us to be in the heaven?
This is where heaven comes to earth…not when we live by the norms of society, when we do what just feels right or makes sense in our culture, but when were are willing to cross cultural boundaries, when we are willing to be uncomfortable or step into awkward situations and build relationships, show God’s love to those that look nothing like us, believe nothing like us or even live nothing like us.
