As one of the early creators and inventors of the podcasting idea I have been encouraging people for many years to get involved in podcasting as a way of communicating their story and teaching the wisdom insight in truth that they can bring into the world.
Recently I have been encouraging a number of organizations that are in service to think about putting on a podcast both to keep in touch with their membership, but to also reach out and recruit new members and in many ways to demonstrate to the community what they do and how they wish to be helpful. So I started with my own local Rotary club here in Cary North Carolina.
My presentation was to be live but due to the remnants of a hurricane the meeting was postponed and instead I gave a virtual zoom presentation. It turned out pretty well and I had a good response and I would love to share the story with you for your thought and consideration for your own service organization.
