This week's episode is almost a part 2 to our conversation last week about birth control. I love encouraging you in all areas of living as a Christian mom and empowering you to make the best decisions the Lord leads you to make for your family. This topic is one I have never heard spoken to specifically from a Biblical worldview and I am so privileged to bring this conversation to you today!
We will be diving into so much valuable information about what vasectomies are, what are some of the potential risks to be aware of, and how wives and husbands can discuss this topic well to make the best decision for their family.
Given the nature of this topic, I invited a Christian wife and husband to be the guests! Elizabeth Parsons has been a guest with me once before for episode 63, Dare to be Different, and today she has her husband Noah with her.
Elizabeth has 5 children and I met her through her Instagram platform. While following her life there, I noticed that she makes many choices to live in ways that are different than culture. I have seen stark contrasts to cultural norms in the way that she talks intentionally about marriage, mothering, faith, the medical choices they make in their home, the way they choose to educate their family, and more. Elizabeth comes from a nursing background which makes the differences in their medical choices even more surprising because many of them are not what you would find in traditional western medicine.
