In modern English parlance, the word "church" is either a hierarchical organization or an activity people do on the weekend. Rarely is it defined as the scriptures define it: a people bought by the shed blood of Christ, called out of the world to reconcile the world to God for the glory of God. On this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we sit down with pastor John Leber to scratch the surface of this word, "church;" what or who it is, what is it supposed to do, and why does it matter? Prayerfully, this episode will help us realign our thinking about this entity with what God has already established in His Word.
