The Oilers are sliding a little bit right now and that means we had plenty to talk about on the brand new Tuesday episode of Oilersnation Radio. On today’s show, we’re talkin’ about what's going on with the PK, playing down to competition, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s Tuesday podcast, we got started with a conversation about what has most concerned us during this three-game losing streak. Is it the defensive coverage? Goaltending? Special teams? Needless to say, there is a long list of reasons to be concerned, and it will be up to the Oilers to find a way out of the hole they've put themselves in. Sticking with the penalty kill, the guys walked through what we feel is going wrong when down a man and what the team can do to fix these issues. Outside of the PK, we also looked at Jesse Puljujarvi, Kailer Yamamoto, and Warren Foegele's struggles, and how they can start to turn their seasons around. We also looked at Jack Campbell's comments from Saturday and how it was almost jarring to hear him talk so poorly of himself even if he's not playing well. As much as we appreciate the candor, none of us on the podcast felt like burying himself like this is the best approach to working his way through a slump. Lastly, we wrapped up the Tuesday episode of ONR with a preview of tonight's matchup vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning and what the Oilers need to do to get back in the win column.
