The Bible records that the apostle Paul was stoned just about to death, and in fact had an 'out of body' experience landing him in a place that he calls the 'third heaven' which upon closer inspection reveals itself to be the actual Heaven where God lives. Paul calling it the 'third heaven' also lets know there are are two other heavens as well.
