Kelly’s mom is on the podcast today! Her story is what we hope is truly unusual because it is quite traumatic. Linda takes us through her birth story; where a hospital team’s mistake cost her multiple reconstructive surgeries, lots of pain, and a lengthy recovery. During pregnancy and labour, trust your instincts because this is a story of how an unplanned epidural saved her from what would have been the pain of a lifetime. We talk seriously about the sacrifices women make to carry, birth and parent their children, sex after birth, and a mother’s unconditional love for their babies. There really isn’t a sure fire way to prepare yourself fully for the birthing process but Linda definitely has the right mindset and outlook on being a mom and going through the ringer.
