"The Disappearing Floor" aired on March 6, 1977. It's the twelfth episode of the second season of the The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries. It also takes its name from a book pumped out by the Stratemeyer Syndicate published in 1940, although its predecessor focuses on a more grounded case featuring earthbound criminals.

In this episode, the Hardy Boys take on a case that's out of this world. The brothers have to deal with hallucinogenic home decor and unidentified flying objects! But they've got to keep it together as they face off against Cold War spies and bizarrely botched movie references.
