In baseball, there is a term called "framing." Framing is a "subtle" movement of the wrist that drags the ball toward the strike zone. Catchers who become experts at this learn to give the "illusion" that a ball is actually a strike.
One of the definitions of framework is "a set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality."
