MEDICARE – What should you know about it?
Manage episode 335560760 series 2991667
🟦 Medicare is a health insurance program for people 65 years of age or older, people under 65 years of age with certain disabilities, and people of any age with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Also, it can be a great way to get the health coverage you need.
There's a lot to know about it particularly as the population ages. The number of Americans on Medicare is forever growing; in fact, over 64 million people were on Medicare in 2020 and that number is expected to increase to over 80 million by 2030.
🟦 While Medicare can be a complex and confusing topic, it's important to have at least a basic understanding of how it works, especially if you're nearing retirement age.
🟦 Join me as my special guest Eric Dudley will be explaining this complex and confusing topic.
