The fourth regular step in Freemasonry takes you into the degree of Mark Master Mason which in England and Wales is under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons, with its headquarters in St James’ Street, London. It is a separate sovereign Grand Lodge, unlike in Scotland & Ireland where the Mark Degree forms a necessary step between Craft and Chapter. Again that inextricable link!
