Nobody expected anything from Northwestern this season, but the Wildcats exceeded everyone's expectations and gave the Big Ten fits. Northwestern was picked 13th in the league and finished in 2nd place. Awards and accolades stacked up for this team. They made their second NCAA Tournament appearance, and for the second time, the Wildcats advanced to the Round of 32. There, they fell short against a really good UCLA team that was the 2-seed in the region. The season may be over, but this team deserves to be celebrated. And, there is plenty of hope for the future.
