Kentucky basketball has made the top six for one of the best prospects we've seen in a while.

Tre Johnson, a five-star shooting guard and the No. 1 prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle, has included the Kentucky Wildcats in his top six schools. John Calipari and the Cats made the cut alongside the Baylor Bears, Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks, and Kansas Jayhawks. On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe discusses what he sees in Johnson and what he could be for Kentucky. He plays eerily similar to Devin Booker. He's decisive, extremely fluid, and arguably one of the best shooters we've seen come out of the high school ranks in quite some time. Kentucky basketball would really love to pick up Johnson, but keeping him away from Texas and Baylor could be difficult.
