Kentucky basketball has too much talent on roster in 2023 for John Calipari to run a short rotation like he normally does.

You have your players 1-6 locked in - Rob Dillingham, DJ Wagner, Justin Edwards, Aaron Bradshaw, Ugonna Onyenso, Antonio Reeves - but how does Coach Cal utilize Antonio Reeves (if he comes back), Reed Sheppard, Adou Thiero, Lance Ware, etc? If Oscar Tshiebwe and Chris Livingston come back, there's no way Kentucky doesn't have at least a nine-man rotation. If Hunter Dickinson transfers in, UK has to find a backup power forward and then run a long bench.
