We all have fears to face. Courage is the ability to act in the face of fear. In the book FEAR, Essential Wisdom For Getting Through The Storm by Thich Nhat Hanh, there are 5 major human fears most of us have. I read this book several years ago and found great value in the message of coming to terms and being willing to look deeper to uncover fears that weren't always obvious to me. I had to go deeper than I'd wanted or felt comfortable with. As I find more often than not, there's an application in my clinical practice that rears it's head in an area I've had some first hand experience. Isn't that the way it works?
