Episode 129 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features Jesper Wallstedt, the top-ranked goalie for the 2021 NHL Draft and the youngest ever to play in the Sweden's top pro league.

In the feature interview, presented by Sense Arena, we talk to Wallstedt about his roots in the game and development path in Sweden, including the influence of Lulea goalie coach Linda Blomquist, who many InGoal Premium Members will remember from our article on Sweden inventing the RVH, or SMS as it's called over there. Wallstedt talks about the importance of playing out longer than most before committing to goalie full time at 12, and the influence of studying goalies from not only the NHL, but SHL and KHL too.

All that plus another trip to The Hockey Shop to talk about the new Warrior neck guard, which reminded us of the famed Maltese models.
