In this episode we discussed plenty of news, and PLENTY of tennis. These past few weeks have practically been nothing but 250s. ATP 250s, that is. Before we dive into Tennis Talk, we address the trending issue of a lack of WTA tournaments compared to ATP. Luckily for us and our listeners…there’s more to talk about Hot Headlines-wise. We take a moment to appreciate Venus and Serena’s iconic Harper’s Bazaar interview (and accompanying pics), and last (but certainly not least) we talk Morgan Riddle’s (Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend) venture into expanding tennis’ platform to a wider (and younger) audience via – get this – tennis influencing. Unfortunately, she’s been receiving (sexist) backlash for it, and we break down why what she’s doing for our sport is so instrumental in the growth of it.
