In this episode of Gulabi Sambad, we talk about how the miserable and fearful behavior children faced at Juvenile Correction Homes affects the mental health of children and teenagers. After hearing Mukesh’s powerful story (in the 27th episode, Season 03) about his time in such a centre, we speak with Nawaraj Guragain, a psychology lecturer at St. Xavier’s College and former Youth Coordinator at FPAN Valley Branch. He helps us understand how these early experiences can impact young minds, the long-term effects of trauma, and why kind, supportive care is so important for healing and moving forward.
