216: What Do You Call Someone Who Has Lost a Child?
Manage episode 366565380 series 2575245
In this episode, Laura talks about something most parents who have lost a child think about. I am not the same person I used to be. I will never be that person again. Who am I now? Why do we have a word for someone who has lost a spouse, or someone who has lost both parents, but there isn't a word for me someone who has lost a child?
Of course, we all know the suffocating darkness we find ourselves hurled into cannot be described in words, no matter how hard we try. But is there at least a word that identifies us and draws us together to be able to strengthen and encourage each other?
