The Apostle Paul made tents, and he did it to be an example to ministry leaders. By making tents in the marketplace, he was placing himself in the best place possible to make the biggest impact possible.
The current model of church, mission, and ministry has developed non-profit and church leaders into modern-day beggars. Why would we think that's the best we can have when there are capable people in the workplace who can do so much more?
