Taylor was out with a corneal abrasion, so Dan and Ryan talked about the fact that the nonagenarian former pontiff of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI, was recently caught in a lie about his attendance at a meeting to discuss child abuse allegations. He previously told investigators he didn't attend the meeting (presumably because he didn't want to admit he personally knew about sexual abuse allegations and then didn't do much of anything about them), but the investigative team has documents that show he was there. The Pope's former secretary finally admitted the Pope was there and that this was all "the result of an oversight in the editing of the [prior] statement" and "not done out of bad faith."

Uh… Catholicism itself is a bad faith.

The closing segment was all about the new and amazing James Webb Space Telescope and the incredible discoveries it should begin revealing before the end of this year.
