Surfline Lead Forecaster Kurt Korte is joined by fellow Lead Forecaster Mike Watson to discuss one of the most memorable storms and swells to impact the East Coast in recent memory - Hurricane Sandy in October 2012. The guys start by discussing their recollections of Sandy, especially the impacts on New Jersey and New York. Kurt and Mike then delve into the track and intensity of the storm, along with the uncertainty of the eventual track when the system was still down in the Caribbean. A little later in the pod the guys discuss the swell that impacted Florida and what zones got good and why.
