In this episode, I share the coaching space with an Enneagram One that desires to better navigating the concerns that comes with parenting older children in their teenage and young adult seasons of life. We explore the feelings around being out of control and the worry that coincides with wanting to make things better or the best that they can be. We also take a gentle look at the emotions that come up in these moments of feeling out of control & use a somatic body-based approach to bring awareness to those emotions. And we explore what self-compassion looks like in the Type One structure so that we can bring some calm to the chaos when life feels out of control.
