Welcome to “Igniting Positive Change”, Episode #31 of Co-creating Peace – a series about conscious communication and conflict transformation. In this episode I have the pleasure of interviewing Amanda Trosten-Bloom, co-author of The Power of Appreciative Inquiry, which I mentioned to you in Episode #29 of this podcast. She will explain Appreciative Inquiry, and we’ll talk about its many useful applications.

Amanda Trosten-Bloom is a Co-Owner and Principal with both the Rocky Mountain Center for Positive Change and Corporation for Positive Change – local and global consultancies specializing in Appreciative Inquiry and related transformational processes. She’s a consultant, trainer, speaker, and pioneer in the use of Appreciative Inquiry.

Amanda has co-authored four books with Diana Whitney: The Power of Appreciative Inquiry, Appreciative Leadership, Encyclopedia of Positive Questions and Appreciative Team Building.

If you want to experience Appreciative Inquiry and begin integrating it into your work and life, consider joining Amanda and her colleagues for one of the virtual workshops they are offering this fall. Results Through Relationships connects you with like-minded leaders and change agents and introduces you to a few key practices that amplify strengths and create positive futures. And Appreciative Inquiry: A Positive Process for Challenge and Change walks your through the 4-D cycle and helps you apply it to a real-life organizational challenge.
