Gospel Glory (vv. 6-8)
2 Cor. 5:15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
- Self-Examination Questions for turning grey to black and white:
- “ All things are lawful (or permissible) for me,” but not all things are helpful.” (1 Cor. 6:12a). Question of Conscience: Is it helpful – physically, spiritually, and mentally?
- “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything.” (1 Cor 6:12b). Question of Conscience: Does it bring me under its power?
- “Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.” (1 Cor. 8:13). Question of Love: Does it hurt others?
- “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Cor.10:31). Question of Glory: Does it glorify God?
