In this edition we chat with historical novelist Fiona Mountain about her forthcoming novel and audio drama “The Keeper of Songs”. We include excerpts from the audio drama of and from some of her other novels and talk about the role of music in inspiring Fiona, her historical research and the effects of the pandemic on her creativity.

This edition features excerpts from the forthcoming audio drama of The Keeper of Songs starring Amy Forrest and Keeley Lane and adapted from her novel of the same name by Fiona Mountain. It features the track “Henry and Clara” by Bella Hardy which is reproduced with Bella’s permission.
