Can AI compress the years long research time of a PhD into seconds? Research scientist Max Jaderberg explores how “AI analogs” simulate real-world lab work with staggering speed and scale, unlocking new insights on protein folding and drug discovery. Drawing on his experience working on Isomorphic Labs' and Google DeepMind's AlphaFold 3 — an AI model for predicting the structure of molecules — Jaderberg explains how this new technology frees up researchers' time and resources to better understand the real, messy world and tackle the next frontiers of science, medicine and more. ×This week we talk about some MLB news and some crazy plays that have happened this week. We also mention a rumor that has been going around regarding WWE and Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights. We also come up with a new segment to highlight our parenting at its finest (or not so finest!) that we bet everyone can relate to! Also, Happy Halloween in July everyone! At least according to every store out there.…

This week it’s Greg’s turn to get quizzed! Alex prepared some topics for Greg and he must name 10 of each thing. She asks him a range of questions from brands of cars to Limp Bizkit songs (safe to say that was an easy one for him). Some topics had him stumped while others he knew surprisingly well! Give this one a listen and play along! (And let us know if you have any good topics for us to name 10 of!)…
In this week’s episode, we put Alex to the test… the name 10 test. Greg introduces a brand new topic game episode where he asks Alex different categories and she has to list 10 things from each one. Some are easy and some aren’t as easy as you would think. Give this one a listen and play along to see if you can name 10 of each category that Greg asks!…
This week we talk about some more random topics! We mention our trip to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and how they have a new addition to their kid area that is great. We also talk about some sports related news (while we are watching the Mets game live) and let you know that warped tour will be back next year… once again NOT in New Jersey. We also talk about a good friend of ours, Lauren, who has a wonderful pet sitting business and how she is the one to call whenever you need to board your dog! Welcome summer with us and enjoy this one on your way to the beach!…
In this week’s episode, we go back over 20 years to…The Starting Line! Greg and Alex deep dive into one of their favorite bands. From the early days of Winnie the Pooh at Bamboozle and Birch Hill to Pooh Bear singing The Starting Line at their wedding. Alex talks about how TSL was her first concert with Greg and it being her first experience seeing his Pooh Bear persona. They talk about it all from how the band shaped Greg to who he is today, all the way to them bringing their girls to see them in concert. Give this one a listen as we go back to 2/12/99 as this episode shows us that we may have gotten older, but we’re still young!…
This week we talk about our upcoming Starting Line concert (which is the night we release this episode!) and how we will be meeting some new friends there as well. We also talk a little about some sports and WWE news. Greg tries to trick Alex with a not so well thought out joke and gets caught before he even says the punch line! Give this one a listen and come say hi if you will be at The Starting Line show tonight!…
This week we talk about what our previous weekend plans ended up being and why Alex hates (yes, HATES) one of them. We also talk about some random stories we heard recently. We also mention how Greg is being hunted down on social media for his Poohbear persona which some believe is actually an urban legend (that’s how old he is!!) but regardless, it brings them some nostalgia.…
Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone! This week we have yet another random talk about not so random topics. We talk about the Knicks being in the playoffs (while we watched game 1 of the ECF - BEFORE the Knicks decided to have a meltdown) and how the Mets are in 2nd place now. We also let you all in on some of our plans coming up like The Starting Line concert on June 6th. As well as our lack of plans for this holiday weekend, although we now have plans for each day. Spend your Memorial Day giving this one a listen, and hopefully it is somewhere more comfortable than how Greg spent his night from when Alex locked him out of the house!…
Happy Birthday! This week we celebrate our girls turning 4. We let you in on how we celebrated the day (even the chaotic parts!) We also talk about some past birthdays of ours that were pretty memorable. From skydiving right after playing softball to going to Disney World and breaking some stuff in a rage room. We also wish every person out there a happy birthday in a very “Greg and Alex” way.…
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms, grandmothers, aunts and other mother figures out there! This week Greg questions Alex all about motherhood. From the good to the bad and everything in between. Things she wished she knew as a first time mom and advice she’d pass on to other new moms out there. Alex had no idea this was even the topic for this week’s episode but she was all for talking about being a mom! After all, she does say it is the best job in the world!…
We are halfway to the greatest time of year… Halloween! In just a few months, we’ll be back to seeing all things spooky and tasting all things pumpkin. As much as we are looking forward to summer, we would always trade anything for Halloween season. Until all of the fun begins, we are joined by Jarad from Halloween Haunts 365 to talk all about Halloween and the over 300 haunted attractions that he has experienced. Jarad has quickly become one of our favorite Halloween people and this episode shows why. Haunted houses are so close, we can almost hear the screams and Alex’s least favorite chainsaws!…
This week we go back to 2005 as we talk about our experience going to the 20th anniversary show of Chiodos (with Hawthorne Heights as the opener). Some interesting things occurred, including it making a top 3 not so great list for Greg. Even with that, we still had a blast through it all. Then we came back to 2025 and talked about this year’s Wrestlemania. Alex’s mind also gets blown when Greg really explains Ric Flairs championship record (she has feelings about it). We also give our thoughts on John Cena’s 17th title win as it was one of the few things that we remember from this year’s Wrestlemania. Give this one a listen if you are a fan of music or wrestling, or both!…
Happy Easter everyone! This week we talk all things Easter (even though it’s one of Greg’s least favorite holidays). Greg gives out a little trivia and some fun facts, like what the most popular Easter candy is. We talk about Alex’s Easter mornings growing up and why she still loves it now that we have kids of our own. Grab a Reese’s egg and a set of bunny ears and see if you know any of these Easter (and some Passover!) facts.…
After 3 years, we are bringing it back this week! Be near your phone and see if you get a 3 minute cutoff call from us! Just kidding, it’s already been recorded. But listen to hear some hilarious and interesting phone calls that only last 3 minutes (we get right to the point!) and get cut off regardless of where we are in the conversation. We speak to some old friends as well as some new ones and see what is happening in their lives and their thoughts on some random topics. So give this one a listen and make sure to always keep your phone near by because you never know when your phone will be ringing for our next 3 minute cutoff call!…
This week we continue our random (yet, somewhat organized) talk about baseball, torpedo bats, actual pirates, concerts going ablaze (literally) and some vacation fun that we just got back from. We learned that it’s okay to bring kids to bars as long as there aren’t any slot machines in them and how Greg and Alex own rock climbing walls. So give this one a listen as continue our random talks with some of our usual back and forth debating!…
This week we get excited about baseball! We talk about the Mets first game and how it was not so successful but still made us real happy that baseball is back. We also talk about some other pretty random things. Like Tracy Morgan getting food poisoning, pirates being real (Alex went deep into a rabbit hole with this one) and how Action Park is still partially around and still dangerous! If you like sports as well as very random topics, this one is for you.…
This week is for the kids! As well as the kids at heart. We put on our grip socks and took a trip over to Play BiG Zone and had a great time playing games, racing in obstacle courses and going on a virtual reality rollercoaster. Greg crushed the basketball record and the girls won a bunch of great prizes. It was a great day with the family and definitely worth checking out if you are in the area!…

This week we continue the feud between west coast and east coast and talk to our good friend, Ben about how raising a 3 year old differs from East to West. Is Ben able to do more than we are being the weather is so much nicer? Or do we do just as much but in different ways? Is school any different? What we know for sure is all of our kids are pretty awesome and we wouldn’t trade them (or their mini muffin snacks) for anything!…
This week we talk all things Legends. From John Cena’s epic heel turn to the demise of Kingda Ka. Greg confirms once and for all why Pepsi is in fact better than Coca-Cola and gives us the perfect spot to sell Girl Scout cookies. We talk about some obvious Legends and some that need to be put in a hall of fame for the amazing moves they have made in life. This one is sure to be legen…wait for it…DARY!…
This week is all about the music… of the movies. We talk about the best soundtracks of movies according to us. We decide on best full movie soundtracks and the best songs that instantly make you think of a specific movie or movies that make you think of a certain song (for example… think of Titanic right now). Some honorable mentions and also questionable are talked about as well. Although we are almost certain we missed some good ones, this one is a fun one to talk about! I bet you can’t listen to this one without singing along at least once!…
This week we interview our niece, nephews cousins and daughters (ages from 3-16) and try to get a look into how kids think. From their favorite food to what they think the meaning of life is. This was a fun one with lots of laughs and some really cute moments. Somehow Greg was still the silliest one there!…
Happy Valentine’s Day!! Today we spread the love by talking to a newly engaged couple that took the Disney social media pages by storm. Alec proposed to Marissa while vacationing in Walt Disney World. But this wasn’t your typical proposal. This was something out of The Notebook as they shared this moment in the pouring rain. Greg also confesses his love to a special someone in the form of a poem… as well as writes a second one for Alex that isn’t so loving. Listen in as we hear all about their story and what led to this magical moment.…
This week Greg brings out some more random topics for us to talk about and break down. We talk about everything from football (specifically the giants losing yet another good draft pick) to Greg getting blocked out of a video game and Citi bike riders finding a crazy loophole making themselves $6,000 a month. We say happy birthday to Facebook and make Alex sing her ABCs. We also find out what our limit is when it comes to buying balloons at Disney and our feelings on Disney getting lazy with their Haunted Mansion decor. Give this one a listen and let us know what random stuff to talk about next!…
In this week’s episode, we talk all about our experience at the Mets Amazin’ Day. This event took place on Saturday, January 25th at Citi Field. Having the earliest time slot of 9:30 AM, we were able to make the most of our day and see most of what they had to offer. We break down our day and all of the players that we ran into. From Darrell Strawberry to Francisco Lindor, Mets players old and new were there to help everyone have such a great time. This event came down to timing of being at the right place at the right time, and we would say that our timing was decent. We also talk a little bit about some of the people we knew who had the VIP ticket and what that experience entailed. So get yourself ready for baseball season and join us for this episode as we now officially have our own baseball cards after Greg threw some pitches in the bullpen.…
This week we get prepared for the 3rd annual ihearthorror convention as we sit down with The Brothers Cuneo and hear all thats in store. This year at ihearthorror (Groundhogzilla) you will see more than ever before. Going from one floor to now 3 floors of all things horror as well as inviting you to a zombie wedding. We can not wait to get there on February 1st and experience it all! For more info and to get your tickets: https://www.ihearthorror.net/…
On this week’s episode we talk to Award Winning Cake Artist & Pastry Chef, Megan Aucone. We talk to Megan about everything from how she got into baking to her time on Food Network’s “Halloween Baking Championship” and Hulu’s “Cookie, Cupcake, Cake”. Her hyper realistic cakes (especially the gory ones!) have caught our eyes for years and we could not have been happier to see her on these shows letting everyone else see her talent. Megan also lets us know that she will be at the ihearthorror convention on Saturday February 1st! We can not wait to go see what she does next and to go visit her at Uncle Guiseppe’s Marketplace and try every one of her creations!! Instagram: @cinnabunbunn Message Megan for any questions or orders!…
On this week’s episode, we talk about our busy holiday week from Christmas Eve until New Years Day. It’s safe to say that we did more in one week than most people do in a year. From Hershey park and Lancaster to sesame place and six flags, we were all over the place! Our girls were delirious at times and so was Greg (especially when he threw powdered sugar all over himself!) but it was a week to remember. Especially since the girls (and Alex) lived out a dream to visit Bluey in her house which was somehow in New York City instead of Australia. We hope you all had a great holiday and a happy new year! (is it too late to say that?)…

This week we finally let you all in on what we did for Alex’s birthday last month. We hopped on a plane and traveled to our favorite vacation destination, Walt Disney World. We talk about spending Thanksgiving there and how great it was doing all 4 parks (plus Disney springs) in one day, that day being Alex’s actual birthday. From our twin girl’s character meetings to lost groceries… we talk about it all! Including the flights there and back and the movie Greg was watching on the plane… on 2 TVs at the same time. Come celebrate (and hide from the massive crowds!) with us as we walk you down Main Street and give you insight into our trip.…

Anything Goes With Greg & Alex

Happy New Year 2025! This week we talk about this past year in review. From starting the year talking about who Crazy Greg is and recapping seeing Story of the Year (not once but twice) to a softball championship, meeting Tom Brady, being on stage with Limp Bizkit and Greg live recording while being hospitalized. It’s definitely been some year and we had a good time reminiscing about (most of) it!!…
This week on our 2024 holiday edition of the Anything Goes Podcast, we head over to our favorite holiday walk through, The Village at Anne Ellen. A Christmas tree farm by day and a wonderful Christmas village by night, this amazing holiday walk through does not disappoint. From the tractor ride (NOT hay ride as said a bunch of times… forgive us we are still mentally at haunted houses) that brings you over to the Village where you will enjoy one of the most unique holiday experiences! Anne Ellen Website: https://www.anneellenfarms.com/…
In this week’s episode, we go to our favorite family farm, Oasis. Oasis family farm has transformed into Candy Lane Game! A one of a kind experience where you travel from holiday zone to holiday zone, finding all the clues and answering fun questions. From dancing in the snow with Olaf, to stepping into Santa’s Toy Workshop, this Candy Lane Game gave us all of the holiday feels! Even when Greg wanted so badly to walk through the haunted walk through, “The Woods Have Eyes”! Join along with us as we venture through this Candy Lane Game to solve the clues and meet the big red man himself, Santa!…

Happy Birthday Alex! This week we let you in on all the things we have planned to do this holiday season. From some amazing outdoor Christmas walk throughs to our favorite holiday drive-thru. Let’s not forget (or maybe forget entirely) Greg’s “birthday rap” for Alex’s birthday this weekend. Let us know if there’s any other local places we should visit with the family and let Greg know what you thought of his very funny (and at some points very true) rap dedicated to Alex.…
This week we talk all about an amazing experience our family had at Color Me Mine in Tom’s River, New Jersey. This ceramic painting studio gives so many options for people of any age. We took our daughters to their “Paint Party” with Anna and Elsa! It’s safe to say our girls had the time of their lives being able to sing their favorite songs while painting the coolest Christmas tree nightlight and make a Frozen themed bracelet. Color Me Mine has so much to offer and we give you a little look into it all.…
This week we slowly make our transition from Halloween season to the holiday season as we talk all about our experience at this years Halloween House and the upcoming Christmas House. We walk you through each room Halloween House had (maybe not in perfect order) and give you which were our favorites and which things we would change in our latest “Keep it and Kill it” segment. From horror icons to a movie in the park, Halloween House is always something on our must do list each Halloween season.…
In our final haunt of the 2024 season, we visit an all time favorite of ours, Oasis Island of Terror. Oasis is back with changes to their “The Woods Have Eyes” attraction which is a mile and a half walk through the woods. Find out our thoughts on the changes that were made from their new additions to the parts that were taken away. Oasis is also getting ready to open up their Candy Lane Holiday Game which is the only one in the United States! Give this one a listen as we remind you all why Oasis Island of Terror is pound for pound one of the best haunts around!…

We also give you our Keep it and Kill it (even though this is always a hard one!) and tell you all about the dance party that broke out during our walkthrough. Which was fitting since we were spending Greg’s 40th birthday there! We hope you all enjoyed your Halloween as much as we enjoyed our time at Brookdale Haunted Theater!…

In Greg’s first episode in his 40s, we talk about our experience at The Conover Killings. We break it all down from the drive up into the parking lot (it makes sense once you listen) to the entire walk through. We give our keeps and kills and also text Rob from The Conover Killings mid-recording because Alex HAD to know the name of the wandering dog that hangs out with the customers. We give our love to Johnathan’s skill of being everywhere at once as well as the final actor in the haunt. Give this one a listen and then get over to The Conover Killings for their final weekend of the 2024 season! To reserve your time slot, call or text 757-817-2517 https://theconoverkillings.com/ (https://theconoverkillings.com/) https://www.instagram.com/theconoverkillings?igsh=MWRtbWhpa28xNjJobg== (https://www.instagram.com/theconoverkillings?igsh=MWRtbWhpa28xNjJobg==)…
First of all… Happy 40th Birthday Greg!! This week we talk all about our experience at Reapers Revenge. We took the trip there for their media event and got a behind the scenes tour of everything they have to offer plus some bonus information about future projects we can’t wait to see unfold! We break down all 5 attractions (soon to be 6!) and let you know which ones we absolutely loved.…
Welcome to a very unexpected episode of The Anything Goes Podcast with Greg and Alex live from… The Hospital. Greg finally ran himself down to the point of landing himself overnight in the hospital and as promised… we still deliver an episode every single week no matter what! Greg records live through his hospital stay and gives you up to date play by play action through his night of only sleeping 45 minutes. Did he get yelled at by the nurses? Did he make a friend or an enemy with his hospital roommate? Did he go for a haunted house walkthrough adventure at 3:45 AM? Did he get released in time to make it home for the Mets playoff game? Did Alex make a special appearance on this episode? Find out all of this and more on a very unplanned and unexpected episode.…
This week we talk about some random topics. From lots of sports news and opinions to Weird Al touring the country. Did you know that the Heinz ketchup you use at restaurants might be a fraud? Or that you can pay to meet Mr. And Mrs. Met at a Met game? (even though they are free to meet in the center field kids area during the game) Now grab your frosty and give this one a listen and see if you agree with our craziness!…

Anything Goes With Greg & Alex

In this week’s episode, we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Well, so sick in fact that we once again are forced to miss yet another weekend of going to Haunts. With not eating anything for a week straight, Greg and Alex give whatever they have left in them to keep the streak going and get out another week of a podcast episode. They talk all about what has taken them out of commission for the last week. Greg isn’t happy as another weekend vacation of plans had to be cancelled. What has he been watching all week being that he lost the tv remote? How is Alex dealing with him and the babies while she herself is beyond sick? Are the girls behaving? Is Greg going to make it? Find out all of that as well as why Greg is advising why not to eat the Orange snow in this week’s episode. Sorry it’s not a very long one this week, but really… we truly have been insanely sick for over a week straight.…
In this week’s episode, we talk all about our 2024 Haunt plans and which ones we would like to visit this year. We mention some of our older favorites to some brand new ones that are opening this year. We have a bunch of plans and even though we are getting off to a late start (due to the fact that our entire house is extremely sick), there is still plenty of time to visit our entire list of Haunted Houses. We are also joined by Rob from The Conover Killings as he gives us a glimpse of what to expect this year from the woods where Jonathon runs wild. Make sure you give this one a listen as this episode is our official kickoff to the 2024 Haunt Season! Theconoverkillings.com To make a reservation for The Conover Killings, text Rob at 757-817-2517…

THE CHAMP IS HERE! Well, one of the champs from the Staten Island Men’s softball team The Wackoz (although Alex does consider herself a vital piece of the team as well!) This episode we break down, specifically, Men’s softball. And even more specifically, Staten Island Men’s softball. As you can imagine… lots of stories about fights breaking out on the field (even teammates going at each other!). Breaking down the different types of softball players was definitely entertaining! We also give the entire history of The Wackoz from Greg’s first day on the field (and a rule he totally forgot about while up at bat) to the most recent Championship the Wackoz have won a few weeks ago!…
This week is yet again, another edition of an Anything Goes random topic episode. This time we talk about many different topics ranging from Meeting Tom Brady, to Greg winning another softball Championship, to some Halloween fun and how an Olympian purposely cut off a portion of their own finger. This might be the most “all over the place” random episode yet, but it’s some good topics! Make sure you give this one a listen as you order in some Pasqually’s Pizza and watch some suspended baseball games during your Halloween season!…
